Save the Date
Dyslexia Today 2012: A Conference for Professionals and Parents
will be held by PBIDA's Western Region on April 14, 2012 at the
Allegheny Intermediate Unit in Homestead, PA.
Dr. Jan Hasbrouck, Ph.D., will present the keynote address, "Reading
FAST or Reading WELL? Let's Take Another Look at Fluency."
Register early; space is limited. Registration will open February 10th.

PBIDA's 34th
Annual Conference will be held on October 5, 2012, at the
Woodlynde School in Strafford, PA. Eric Tridas, M.D., will present
the keynote address.
The Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association
(PBIDA), serving Pennsylvania and Delaware, provides support and
information for individuals, families and educational professionals
concerned with the issues of dyslexia and learning differences. The
branch includes a Regional Group (pittsburgh.dyslexia@pbida.org) which
provides services to individuals located in the Pittsburgh area.
The PBIDA believes all individuals have the right to reach their
full potential and is committed to helping parents and educational
professionals become well-informed advocates for the needs of children
and individuals with dyslexia and learning differences.
